Bodyline's Customer Support Seems To Have Improved...

...however, this isn't the type of support I had in mind...

New slogans, perhaps?
Bodyline support, no strings attatched.

*snicker*
Oh Mr. Yan, you just don't know what to sell next, do you?
He clearly wants to live a fuller life... *rolls on floor like a crazy person*

Commenting on the current comment climate.

....correctly.
I just want to say that I'm sorry if I'm ignoring comments or anything. I'm getting e-mails for new comments, but I can't actually see them. See, I've been trying to import the comments from LLL too, but I don't mind so much if that doesn't work. What I do mind is if Disqus doesn't work because, well, I like the reply function :P

Just though I'd let you know, in case you think I'm being all silly and ignorant.

In the next episode: Another rather irrelevant post! (most likely...)

Well now!

Welcome to Sorbet Noir! Nothing much will be different about his blog in comparison with LLL, only that it has a different name. It's still as Lolita as ever, though with a little bit of everything else thrown in for good measure.

That's about the size of it really...

The Straw Bag

I've always loved straw bags and baskets, but never bothered to buy one. Only recently have I begun to appreciate them fully, and as though they could read my mind, Metamorphose are releasing some straw basket bags of their own!

There are five bags being released, all of which are lovely, but this is my absolute favourite.

This is the Denim Strawberry Bag, and it's being sold for 8190 yen (Around €70)
I love the shape of this particular bag, and, well.. I'm just a sucker for strawberries! Admittedly though, I wouldn't pay that much for a straw bag. It is darling, and it's brand, but big deal, it's nearing summer, and straw baskets and bags shouldn't be too difficult to come by.

I'm a sucker for country Lolita, and a straw bag can give an outfit a really beautiful touch of 'Hey, it's a nice day, I'm going on a picnic, because I have a basket, and I'm actually rather happy about it.'
Slight exaggeration, but you get me.

I don't know about you, but I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for one around the shops. I might even check around the charity shops too... you never know, I could have luck :)

Baby Clearly Thinks We're Made Of Money... And Blind.

BUT THEY'RE BABY! THEY WOULDN'T THINK THAT!
Lies. All of it.

At the moment, Baby The Stars Shine Bright is probably my favourite brand. So, you can imagine my surprise when I saw the four new items they have for reservation.

1. "Princess Dreamy Dress"
If your first thought was also "...what?" then you're not alone! What is this, what does it do? Why does it look awkward? IS THIS WHAT THEY DOODLE ON THE COFFEE TABLE IN THE BTSSB BREAK ROOM?
...how much does it cost?
92,400 yen.
And that's the best part of €800.

2. Arietta Princess Dress Ball
My first thought with this was "Nice concept, horribly overdone." Look at all the bows and lacey bits and... assorted bits and pieces. But in general, no Baby, bad Baby.
This piece is the same price as the first one, but wait! It has a hat, canotier, thing!

3. The Princess Ball Arietta Canotier

It's like a fancy pancake of... stuff and flowers. And how much does this cost?
21,000 yen.
That's nearly €180

So, if you want the set, you'll have to dish out almost €1000. For real.

4. Marie de Lumiere
Yes, my friends, it's a wedding dress, one mother of a lacy one, too! I'm pretty sure Meta released a wedding dress a while back, but, you know, Baby didn't have to compete, really, no one forced them, but then this appeared. Let's get married in burando, all the young kids are doing it these days....
How much does this cost?
126,000 yen. That's not a typo.
That's nearly €1100. That's not a typo either.
I'm deadly serious, and so are they.

All these items are on reserve, and being shipped out in September. Hope you're not doing backflips of impatience for these ones...

A Thought For The Day.

I know what it's like to wear Lolita for the first time in public, it can be pretty nerve-wracking. So if you're wearing it for the first time, or if you often find yourself being too worried by what people will say or think of you, keep this in mind:

"I care not what others think of what I do, but I care very much about what I think of what I do. That is character!" - Benjamin Franklin.

I found that quote about a month ago, or maybe more, and posted it to Facebook, and I only realised the significance of it when related to Lolita fashion, or fashion which is out of the ordinary.
I was in town yesterday, and I couldn't count the amount of people who laughed, shouted, or sang a chorus of 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' (out of tune, too). But, since I started wearing Lolita, which is almost a year and a half ago, I've learned a lot. I've learned that, to wear the fashion, one must have a tough shell. You can't decide to wear it, hear an insult, and run home bawling, you have to be prepared for it, and you have to prepare to deal with it, and it's usually best to ignore it. Remember, if you truly love what you're wearing, and if you know it looks nice, then don't let anyone put you off it.

I know I have something else to post, but I can't remember what. So here's my temporary wig storage solution for your entertainment.
I never thought the music was particularly.. *snigger*.. hair-raising... *chokelaugh*
Oh I need to stop. xP
